The New Clio Experience: Practice Management, Reimagined


I would describe the New Clio experience as easy, fast, and beautiful. There’s been a tectonic shift in the types of technologies that are available and the user experience we would be able to deliver to our customers with those technologies. So the New Clio experience is the first ground-up reinvention of Clio— customers should expect a Clio that looks familiar, and yet is completely reimagined. They will find that their workflows are easier than ever before, that the information they want is easier to access than ever, and they should also find that Clio is five times faster than the previous version of Clio. What’s changed with the new Clio experience on the surface is the fact that it looks way better—it looks cleaner, it’s easier to consume with your eyes and understand what’s happening. When we start creating the ideas, we build them into prototypes, and we bring that back to our customers to see if these ideas actually solve the problems that we uncover. We really focus on efficiency and making sure that tasks are easier. That we’re putting less work in their hands. Things like search that customers use every single day has been redesigned from the ground up to be faster, and the navigation for the new Clio experience is more intuitive and easier to access than ever we’re also releasing a brand new App Directory which allows customers to discover new integrations and add-ons to Clio that make Clio more powerful than ever. You’ll see familiar tools like the calendar, billing, and documents, but you’ll see that we’ve reimagined how the workflows for those tools work and how the user interface is realized. Getting your work done is easier and faster than it’s ever been before. I think the most surprising thing working through the new Clio experience is how passionate our customers could be about what we created for them. They go beyond just saying ‘hey this is good, and this is helps me,’ but they’re actually saying that they love what we’ve done for them, and that’s incredibly satisfying. we have a world-class team that is unparalleled not just in the legal industry, but in the software industry and we’ve been able to deliver a complete top-to-bottom reimagining of the Clio experience in less than a year and the end product is something I’m just so proud of.
