Jen – Customer Service Representative Trainee


Hi, Jen, How are you? I’m good. Thank you. How are you? Good thank you. Can you please tell me what qualification you’re doing at the moment as part of your traineeship? Yeah, Im currently completing a Certificate III in Customer Service Contact Great! And, your employer that your with now, how did you find your job? Well, Ive got a lot of friends that actually work in the same industry as me, they have always said how much of a great company they are to work for. They do a lot for their staff Checked a lot of referrals And I did a bit of research online and found out that they were actually advertising at the time. So it was kind of perfect! Great!…great, How long were you looking?…were you always looking for a traineeship? Um, no, not so much a traineeship, that was kind of a bonus within the role actually, So it’s always good to enhance your experience. Yes! Yes, it was good! Great And what do you do on the job? So I work in a very busy call centre, where customers coming in quite regularly. A lot of calls, within a lot of shifts I’m here to help a customer stay with our network and to solve any problems regarding billing, escalations, sales, quite.. quite a bit. Lots of different things And once you complete your traineeship, where do you hope its going to take you in the future? Well, Ive always like to do as many qualifications as I can. Ive got quite a few in my background already. So, the more the merrier I say, it’s good to show that you want to learn more, and to see where they do take you. So eventually I would like to go a little bit higher whether it’s a more a higher position than what Im in now, but around the same type of industry.
